A few days before Benin celebrated its 66th anniversary of independence, preparations accelerated. On 21 July, the Director General of Benin Customs, Colonel Raouf Malèhossou ABOUDOU, and the Director General of the Republican Police, the Comptroller General of Police Brice Kokou ALLOWANOU, under the authority of the Minister of Interior and Public Security, Djibril MAMA CISSE MOUSSA, observed on the East Corniche of Cotonou the launch of the parade exercises of the two Corps.

This first session of cohesion, which follows several weeks of exercises already carried out by each body on its side, marks the beginning of a series of joint training aimed at strengthening the coordination, discipline and synchronization of units to be deployed on 1 August.

The rehearsals will continue in the coming days on the Amazon Square, for a national cohesion where the different forces will refine their steps, alignments and pace in order to offer a performance at the height of the event.

Through this mobilization, the Customs and the Republican Police reaffirm in a spirit of cohesion with the Defence and Security Forces, their unity, professionalism and their constant commitment to serving the Nation.
