Following the strict application of the provisions of the ORDER No. 2013-546 of 24 DECEMBER 2013, On the regulation of roadside checkpoints on corridors in the Republic of Benin, Benin has been ranked first in the ECOWAS area as the most fluid corridors in the free movement of persons and goods. This was at the 55th Summit of the Organisation's Heads of State in June 2019 in ABUJA, Nigeria.
