In order to enable its partners to better equip themselves to meet the new challenges of its modernisation and to take an active part in the implementation of the public-private partnership, the Customs Administration, at the beginning of the new year, has developed an attractive information, training and awareness programme for the various actors involved in the customs clearance process.
PARTNERSHIP
The objective of this training series is to strengthen the capacity of partners for more efficiency in the exercise of their profession as part of the implementation of the new reforms, extending until 21 February 2019 and will take place every Thursday from 09:00 to 13:00 from Thursday 17 January 2019.

For this first day of training, two themes were developed. These are:
1. Presentation of the national programme of approved economic operators;
2- Presentation of the customs measures of the Financial Management Law 2019.
The programme for the Government of the Republic of Benin, which is very dear, has been developed as part of the implementation of institutional and information technology reforms. As a prelude to its official launch scheduled for January 26, 2019 (World Customs Day),
The Customs Administration considered it appropriate to bring to the attention of its partners the content of the programme, which includes the typology of the statutes, the characteristics of the statutes, the eligibility criteria for the statutes, the process of processing applications, the advantages inherent in each statute and the roadmap for the operationalization of the programme.

Successive financial laws are a fundamental instrument for the Customs Administration to implement its actions, in that they determine how the State collects and manages its resources. The presentation of the 2019 Management Finance Act provided an opportunity to expose and explain to the assistance, the old extended measures, new measures and time-limited exemptions.
At the end of the various presentations, the clarification questions and the responses received enabled the partners to better understand the new concepts and reforms being implemented within the Customs Administration.
