As part of its human resources modernization policy, the Benin Customs Administration has taken a significant new step: twenty (20) officials successfully obtained their certification following intensive training funded by Enabel from 13 April to 16 June 2026.
A complete program serving performance
Articulated around two complementary phases — a technical skills acquisition phase followed by a certification phase — This training covered several essential tools and benchmarks for improving administrative and financial performance: Advanced Excel, Power BI, revised SYSCOHADA, as well as specialized software PERFECTO and SAGE.
An eloquent success rate
The official closing ceremony, held at the premises of the Directorate of Customs Intelligence, Investigations and Fraud Prevention (DREF), was enhanced by the presence of the Deputy Director-General, trainers and beneficiaries. It was an opportunity to welcome a remarkable result: a 100% success rate at certification, which reflects both the commitment of the participants and the quality of the pedagogical guidance provided throughout the programme.
