Another act of valour by the officers of the Atlantic-Littoral Rapid Response Service.

In fact, it is in the evening of Sunday 14 January 2018, at around 6 p.m. at the height of the village of Agatogbo, located on the Cotonou/Lomé interstate road, that the Peugeot vehicle registered AY 3370 RB from Lomé, was arrested on intelligence.

When asked for use, the driver of the vehicle replied that he had transported packages of frying shoes. A more detailed inspection in the presence of the occupants of the said vehicle revealed eighty-one (81) kg of carefully packed cannabis platelets hidden in three (03) packages of footwear.

The goods of fraud, the driver and the alleged owner of the said booklets of Nigerian origin were taken to the headquarters of the gendarmerie brigade of Agatogbo for the judicial follow-up.
