Cotonou Red Star Square hosted this Wednesday 1^and August 2018, the military and paramilitary parade is part of the commemoration of the 58^nd birthday Benin's accession to national and international sovereignty.

Placed under the theme: « Security forces in synergy to address security challenges »The parade lasted 1h30min with a special security device.

On occasion, the Customs Administration took part in the festivities with a detachment of four (04) platoons including one (01) female.

It was recalled that Customs contributed significantly to the mobilization of resources for the benefit of the Treasury. On behalf of the first half of 2018, a rate of 104% against forecasts. This corresponds to an increase of more than 25 billion compared to the same period in 2017.
