1^and August 1960 - 1^and August 2017: Benin, our dearest homeland, has gained national sovereignty for 57 years. The military and paramilitary parade dedicated to the celebration was marked by: « The Defence and Security Forces to meet the challenges of development ».

On occasion the Customs Administration took part

the festivities with a detachment of four platoons, including one female. Beninese customs distinguished themselves this year by putting at the head of the detachment a female staff: this is the Commander of Customs Mauricette ADJIBI wife DAFIA. She is the first woman of the next generation to hold the position of Chief of Customs Brigade of Krake-Plage, bordering Nigeria.

The motto of the Benin Customs is « Honor- Discipline- Work ».
