Under the leadership of the Director General of Customs and Indirect Rights, the Colonel SACCA BOCO Charles Inousa, the Borgou Alibori Rapid Response Service led by the Commander Sadeck OROU GUIDOU and his deputy on Captain Welcome MAYABAOver the past few weeks, there has been an increase in efforts to crack down on the illicit traffic in counterfeit medicines.

Indeed, after the spectacular seizure of 362 kg of Indian hemp carried out in November 2018, the elements of Colonel SACCA BOCO Charles are determined to stop the phenomenon of illicit trafficking of false medicines in the departments of Borgou and Alibori.

Thus, thanks to its network of intelligence and the dynamism of its agents, the Service has successively apprehended on 04, 06 and 08 February 2019, large quantities of false medicines on various roads of the said departments.

In total, more than 700kgs false medicines were apprehended by the customs service of Nsdali.

The customs administration under the authority of Colonel SACCA BOCO Charles thus gives proof that it is resolutely engaged alongside the government of President Patrice TALON in its desire to sanitize the pharmaceutical import and distribution sector in order to ensure the health of our populations.
