Another prowess of Benin's customs officials.

Indeed, following information received by the Hilla-Condji Customs Brigade on Monday, 07 May 2018, an ambush service was carried out by the Brigade Chief. The said service allowed the PASSAT vehicle, registered BJ4871RB from Togo and carrying various packages to be intercepted.

A more thorough search of the vehicle resulted in a count of 03 packages of medicines, for a total weight of 114 kg.

Having regard to the Article 460-1 of Law 2014-20 of 12 September 2014 On the basis of the Code of Customs in the Republic of Benin, confiscation of cartons of illicit products and the means of transport has been ordered in cases of litigation.
