During the execution of service No. 089 of 13/10/2021 the customs officials of the Regional Service for Combating Mono-Couffo Fraud at the Guézin checkpoint, on the advice of fraud, intercepted on Thursday 14 October 2021 at around 04:30 minutes, two J9 vehicles coming from Lomé and going to Cotonou.

The said vehicles were immediately taken to the headquarters of the Unit where the escort carried out allowed to count ninety-five (95) packages of the pesticide RIDOMIL GOLD 66WP (50g) for a total weight of approximately ten thousand two hundred and sixty (10,260) kilograms.

In addition to non-licensed phytosanitary products, the following goods were also counted:

• Dried peppers: 09 bags, or 450 Kg;
• Cola: 08 bags, or 720 Kg;
• Soap: 24 bags, or 1.160 Kg;
• Toothpaste: 10 cartons or 20 Kg.
